Artworks created by Studio in a School students currently on view at Christie’s New York & Asia Society

The school-year might be coming to a close, but the young artists participating in Studio in a School’s visual art programs across the city are as busy as ever exhibiting their artworks. In addition to year-end celebrations taking place at our partner schools all around the City, Studio currently has major exhibitions on view at two prominent New York City venues.

Young Visions 2017, on display at Christie’s New York, celebrates the creativity of more than 450 young artists from pre-K through 12th grade. Through the art-making process, the students gain the tools to express themselves and respond to their surroundings. The exhibition features 215 paintings, drawings, prints, collages, large-scale murals, and sculptures that reveal how children see themselves and their families, communities, cultures, favorite places, and neighborhood streets. Young Visions 2017 will be on view at Christie’s, located at 20 Rockefeller Plaza, through June 29th.  Gallery hours: Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.    Sunday 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
