What color is the sky? Is it always blue? How does it change with the time of day? Or with the weather?
Look at the sky at different times of day and during different kinds of weather. How does the color of the sky change as you look higher or lower? Now use crayons or colored pencils to make the colors that you see. Draw at least three different sky colors. Did you use just one color or did you need to layer and blend them? Did you press hard or soft on your drawing tools? How does the color of the sky change as you look higher or lower?
