On May 3, 2017, Studio in a School marks 40 years as a leader in arts education with our once-every-five-years gala celebration!

The event will be held on The Seagram Building Plaza, in a beautifully decorated tent filled with vibrant and fanciful artwork created by students from Studio’s partnering schools.

Honorees
Raymond J. McGuire of Citi for his outstanding leadership in New York City’s arts and culture community;
Studio Artist Partners John Baldessari, Jennifer Bartlett, Jeff Koons, David LaChapelle, Brice Marden, Julie Mehretu, Vik Muniz, Clifford Ross, Joel Shapiro and Kiki Smith, for generous donations of their art to benefit Studio in a School; and
Studio Artist Instructors Noel Copeland, Valerie Hammond, Robin Holder, Damali Miller, Gail Molnar, Jan Moseman and Cathy Ramey, for more than 20 years of service to the students of New York City.

Thanks to the generosity of Studio’s Board of Directors, 100% of the tax-deductible portion of each table and ticket purchase directly supports Studio’s New York City programs, which serve tens of thousands of students each year, and the Studio Institute, which takes our model to cities and students across the U.S.
