Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in Visual Arts

Starting in 2003, Studio helped the NYC DOE to create the first comprehensive NYC Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in Visual Arts, a citywide framework with clear implementation goals and benchmarks for students in grades 2, 5, 8 and 12. In the 2007 revision, Tom Cahill was a Curricula Development Planning Co-Chair and, in 2015, he was an Advisor and contributer to a new section, Visual Arts and Pre-Kindergarten Students.
