This year marks P.S. Art’s 20th anniversary, and we are honored to partner with the New York City Department of Education and the Metropolitan Museum of Art to support this exhibition.
In efforts to support young people in carrying their passion for the arts from childhood into adulthood, we created the Studio in a School Award for Excellence in the Arts. This year, 15 seniors featured in P.S. Art 2022 have been awarded $1,000 each. These funds are intended to assist them in their future endeavors and can be used towards tuition, art supplies, or anything else that helps them thrive.
P.S. Art 2022 exhibition – on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art until October 23, 2022 – amplifies the artistic vision of New York City’s public school students, making visible the breathtaking scope of imaginative work created by students in a wide range of media: painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, digital art, photography, and mixed media.
