Studio in a School Welcomes Anna Traggio and Tessa Bridge to Its Board of Directors

Studio in a School is delighted to welcome Anna Traggio and Tessa Bridge to its Board of Directors.

With deep family ties to Studio, Anna and Tessa represent a new generation of leadership carrying forward the organization’s longstanding commitment to visual arts education. Anna is the daughter of Studio founder Agnes Gund, whose vision and dedication established the foundation for nearly five decades of arts education. Tessa is the daughter of longtime Studio Board Member Kathryn McAuliffe, whose years of service have helped support and advance Studio’s mission. As Studio approaches its 50th anniversary, we are especially pleased to welcome Anna and Tessa as they bring their own experiences, perspectives, and commitment to the organization’s next chapter.

Anna shared, “My mother believed deeply in the transformative power of art and that every child deserved a chance to make art regardless of their circumstances or the school they attended. She devoted decades of her life to making that a reality. I’m proud to join the board at such a pivotal moment, and to help ensure that her vision will continue to reach the next generations of young artists.”

Tessa shared, “I have long been impressed by the high standards of Studio in a School. Time and again, the organization sets high standards for students, and time and again, the students rise to meet them. It is a joy to follow in my mother’s footsteps and serve on the board, and to see the organization continue to flourish.”

We look forward to Anna and Tessa’s contributions as Studio continues to build on its legacy, expand opportunities for young people, and ensure that the transformative power of the visual arts reaches future generations.
