Studio in a School NYC is pleased to present Studio Selections 2023, an exhibition celebrating the extraordinary artistic achievements of students participating in our visual art education programs. Studio engages children and teens from pre-school through twelfth grade at New York City public schools and community-based organizations in all five boroughs. Working with Studio Artist Instructors, students observe, imagine, and interpret the people, places, and things that make up their lives.
Studio Selections 2023 is comprised of more than 45 artworks featured in Young Visions 2023, presented last spring in partnership with Christie’s New York. These artworks illustrate the exploring, learning and making that flourished across Studio’s programs in the 2022-2023 school year. Not only does this exhibition celebrate the artworks on view, but it also recognizes the hard work, growth, and creativity of every child who participated in Studio’s programs last year.
