This week, Christie’s New York opened its doors to the public to view Studio in a School’s Young Visions 2016 exhibition. The show includes works of art made by more than 250 students, Pre-K through high school, from 79 different New York City public schools, daycare centers, and community-based organizations. It will remain on view through July 7.

Young Visions 2016 celebrates the creativity and unique individual and collective experiences of young artists. This exhibition features almost 200 paintings, drawings, prints, collages, large-scale collaborative murals, and sculptures and reveal how children see themselves, their families, communities, cultures, favorite places, and neighborhood streets. Through the art-making process, the students gain the tools to express themselves and respond to their surroundings. The exhibition is open to the public and the opening hours are Monday – Friday 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Make sure you visit!
