The school-year might be coming to a close, but the young artists participating in Studio in a School’s visual art programs across the city are as busy as ever exhibiting their artworks. In addition to year-end celebrations taking place at our partner schools all around the City, Studio currently has major exhibitions on view at two prominent New York City venues. 40th Anniversary Gala & Art Making Day
On May 3, Studio in a School celebrated 40 years of providing visual arts education to New York City’s public school children with an anniversary Gala on the Seagram Building Plaza. The following day, more than 300 students from Studio’s programs visited the tent to celebrate Art Making Day.
