Do you have a houseplant in your home? Maybe you can see a plant or tree from your window.
Look closely. What does it look like?
Is it big or small, tall or short, full of lots of leaves and flowers or just a few?
What shape are its leaves? Are they just one color or do they have a pattern? Can you see the veins?
Now try to draw your plant. Slowly draw the biggest shapes first. Then add any details that you notice.
Now draw a dream plant from your imagination. What kinds of leaves or flowers will it have? Why?
