Some words can be used to describe both music and visual art. Music has patterns, rhythms, lines and even color, just like visual art. We also refer to some art tools as instruments!
Draw the sounds your musical instrument makes. Listen to your instrument online and draw at the same time, or play your instrument and draw afterwards. You can draw the variety of sounds your instrument makes or even try to draw a song.
Choose materials that best reflect the sounds your instrument makes. How will you use them? Will you tap a rhythm, press harder or softer, choose just one or a lot of different colors?
