Alison Owen

Alison Owen received her MFA from Claremont Graduate University in 2005. She participated in residencies at the Bronx Museum of Art, foundation id11 in Delft, the Netherlands, and Gallery Aferro in NJ. The Rhode Island State Council for the Arts awarded Owen the New Genres fellowship in 2010, and she was a finalist for the MacColl Johnson fellowship in 2011. Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries, including Cuchifritos, NY, the DeCordova Museum in Massachusetts, Smack Mellon in Brooklyn, Bank Gallery and Kinkead Contemporary in Los Angeles, and the Natural History Museum in Providence, RI.
