Shaping the “P.S. Art 2021” Exhibition

The annual exhibition organized by the New York City Department of Education (DOE) in partnership with The Metroplitan Museum of Art and Studio in a School NYC features 153 student artworks. Studio NYC plays a key role in P.S. Art selection process. Together with the DOE we nominate and convene the selection panel—a group of specialists with expertise in fine arts and arts education.

“Young Visions 2021,” an annual exhibition celebrating the extraordinary artistic achievements of students participating in Studio in a School visual art programs, takes the form of a digital catalogue.

“Art in Our Community” Curricula Awarded NEA Grant

Studio NYC’s new curricula will engage students in art making in varied media while focusing on the history of local artists and cultural movements, and connecting students to the artists, artworks, and cultural resources in their neighborhoods today.
