What’s MLL Art Lab?

The Multilingual Learners (MLL) Art Lab is a unique program created by Studio in a School NYC (Studio) and the New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) Arts Office. It’s all about teamwork! Artist instructors, art teachers, and English as a New Language (ENL) specialists unite to craft lessons that combine artmaking with language learning. This approach helps students develop their English skills while exploring their artistic talents.

¿Qué es MLL Art Lab?

MLL Art Lab (Laboratorio de arte para estudiantes multilingües) es un programa único creado por Studio in a School NYC (Studio) y la Oficina de artes de escuelas públicas de la ciudad de Nueva York (NYCPS). ¡Todo se trata de trabajar en equipo! Los instructores y profesores de arte, así como los especialistas de ENL (Inglés como nuevo idioma) se unen para crear lecciones que combinan actividades artísticas con el aprendizaje de idiomas. Este enfoque ayuda a que los estudiantes desarrollen sus habilidades en el inglés mientras exploran sus talentos artísticos.
