Studio in a School NYC, is honored to partner with the New York City Department of Education and the Metropolitan Museum of Art to co-produce P.S Art. This year marks P.S. Art’s 22nd anniversary and Studio’s 17th year supporting the exhibition. The 2024 edition features more than 125 outstanding artworks created by New York City public school students in grades Pre-K -12.
At the June 18th reception, Studio had the honor of presenting fifteen 12th graders with the Studio Award for Excellence in the Arts. This award was created to support young people in carrying their passion for the arts from childhood into adulthood. Each recipient receives $1000 to assist them in their future endeavors. The funds can be used towards tuition, art supplies, or anything else that helps them thrive.
