Young Visions 2018 at Christie’s New York
Young Visions 2018 features more than 220 artworks created by students, form all five boroughs, in pre-K through 12th grade. From paintings and sculptures to drawings and digital media, the art on display demonstrates the range of media explored by students. The exhibition will be on view at Christie’s New York through June 26.
Studio in a School receives National Arts Award
Studio in a School is the proud recipient of one of the Americans for the Arts’ National Arts Awards. Darren Walker, President of the Ford Foundation, presented the Arts Education Award to the Studio Institute President Tom Cahill at a celebratory event on October 23rd. The award recognizes Studio’s contributions to the visual arts education field.
Inspired by Zao Wou-Ki on view at Asia Society
Inspired by Zao Wou-Ki is currently on view at Asia Society. All of the artworks in the exhibition were created by students participating in Studio in a School’s Long Term Program at four different schools – PS 152 in the Bronx, PS 123 & PS 145 in Brooklyn and PS 145 in Manhattan. Inspired by Zao Wou-Ki will remain on view through August 6. Make sure you visit!
